23.01.2009 – konplan – Certified Quality

On November 10, 2008, konplan received EN ISO 13485:2003 certification regarding the development of software for medical diagnostic devices. The initial certification was issued for konplan gmbh, based in Mannheim, Germany, as well as for konplan systemhaus ag, based in Switzerland.

The company also received ISO 9001:2000 recertification for its quality management system.

And once again there was mush praise from the TÜV SÜD certification body, which noted "significant structural improvement" and a "systematic approach in the quality management system" as outstanding company achievements in its final report.

18.12.2008 – Move to Plzen: Good ideas need space to grow

Especially for employees who are always on hand to help customers turn their ideas into reality. 04.12.2008 – SPS/IPC/Drives 2008: konplan – Rich in Ideas and Expertise

The 19th SPS/IPC/Drives show was held on December 4?19, 2008, in Nuremberg, Germany. Trade visitors were on hand to see 1,300 exhibitors, spread out over one million square feet of exhibition space, and gain information on integrated solutions or individual components and systems in the area of electrical automation.

konplan also exhibited its extensive range of engineering services at its over 300 square-foot sized booth. A team of specialists attended to visitors, answered questions and demonstrated solutions directly at the exhibition booth. According to reports and studies conducted by the FKM (Society for Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics, Berlin), over 70% of trade show visitors come from the fields of business management, construction, development, and production.

This diversity of personalities with various backgrounds and interests received immediate assistance and individual advice from Mr. Rück, Project Engineer and expert for real-time simulations at WinMOD, Mr. Huber, Branch Manager for Medical Engineering, and Mr. Rudé, Division Manager for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

Both prospective customers and regular customers alike thus had the opportunity to see first hand the diversity, inventiveness, and long-standing experience of the company.




12.11.2008 – konplan at "Moderner Staat" Trade Show in Berlin

For the second time, konplan attended this year's "Moderner Staat" trade show for the public sector in Berlin on November 4-5, 2008.

This trade show, dedicated to strategies and best practices for IT, human resources, and finances, was held in 2008 for the 12th time and was met with enthusiasm by the public sector. Decision-makers from federal, state, and local governments received information on current topics and developments from some 200 exhibitors.

konplan introduced itself as a full-service IT provider for the public sector. Michael Homsy, Project Manager for IT Solutions, and René Wendler, Group Manager in the same department, were on hand to help the trade visitors with wide-ranging presentations.




12.11.2008 – The 1st KOMCOM BAYERN – and konplan Was There!

The KOMCOM BAYERN trade show was held in Augsburg, Germany, on October 28?29, 2008. It was the fifth site of Germany's biggest IT trade show for public administration. At KOMCOM, decision-makers, agency heads, and employees of local, municipal, and regional public administrations can find solutions for the important issues of today relating to optimization, efficiency, and cost reduction in local governments. The companies demonstrated their computer products and IT services for all areas of public administration on approx. 65,000 square feet of exhibition space.

Visitors to KOMCOM BAYERN 2008 included mayors as well as managers and employees from the public sector, as well as various churches, social institutions, schools, and universities.

konplan presented the konRat information system for public administration bodies, the e_prokon procurement solution, as well as a group appointment calendar, and engaged in interesting discussions with members of the target groups.




05.11.2008 – Subsidiary in Hamburg – Regional Office in Kiel to Follow

As previously annouced, konplan will open a subsidiary in Hamburg, Germany, in the coming days.

With this important step, we can take advantage of the potential and innovative strength of the region and ensure that our customers in North Germany receive better support.

We have found an ideal infrastructure in the Hamburg Chilehaus, where we are now open to the public.

To further strengthen our position in the north, a regional office in Kiel will be open as of December 1, 2008.




17.10.2008 – konplan at the Immocom 2008

konplan, with its IT Solutions department and its e_prokon facilities solution, was exhibiting at this year's Immocom, which was held in the dbb Forum in Berlin on September 29?30, 2008.

This convention for the real estate branch was held for the 11th time already and was presented under the motto "Management and IT" this year.

Visitors were able to get information on current topics in the real estate sector from a series of interesting expert lectures. We were delighted to greet visitors at our booth and introduce them to the e_prokon facilities maintenance solution.

Important customers such as Mr. Palm of the Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Berlin-Mitte mbH and Dr. Uwe Held of the Chemnitz-based Allgemeine Wohnungsbaugesellschaft eG were available to answer visitors' questions about the real-world application of our solution.

25.04.2008 – New Product Information Available

As part of the new version of the procurement solution e_prokon, konplan has also updated the corresponding product information, to give you a first impression of the new interface.

11.03.2008 – Dresden-Dakar-Banjul-Challenge

7300 kilometers, from Dresden to Banjul via Dakar, straight through 7 countries in the beating sun and the dusty desert sand. And all with a completely normal car full of luggage, tents, spare parts and lots of small presents. At the end of the rally the participating cars will be donated to the organizers and then sold to the highest bidder.

15.02.2008 – Premium solutions for digital signatures

Bills can now be produced without the use of paper, but still comply with the law.

The software solution e-prokon facilities (a standard product for the electronic processing of documents from ordering to billing) has been extended to incorporate digital signatures in line with the legal requirements of signature law.

Companies entitled to pre-tax allowances/input tax deductions will receive bills that conform to the regulations of V.A.T. law, with participating contractors not needing any kind of signature device.

Housing companies in particular use e_prokon facilities for a paperfree handling of the entire contract process with independent tradesmen/craftsmen. However, this solution is suitable for any company dealing with many different contractors.

05.02.2008 – konplan + rss, a modern team

As of this year, konplan will be supporting the RSS protocol for the purposes of communicating the companies news and job vacancies. These so-called "feeds" are recognizable by the RSS-icon rss in the addressbar.

All you need to be able to subscribe to these feeds is a modern browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or Opera). Then you will receive up-to-date information as and when you need it. It's as easy as that!




10.01.2008 – New looking konplan

As a result of the development of konplan's corporate design, the company's appearance has changed. Now mainly in white with several reappearing elements, the corporate design fits creatively with the dynamics of the market.

In addition to the company green, 3 departmental colors have been introduced. This will serve to distinguish between konplan's core business areas, though without losing their connectivity.

A complete redesign of the website is planned for the 4th quarter in which all elements of the new corporate design will be implemented.
