22.03.2007 – Electronic procurement using continuous process integration
konplan gmbh will present the new version of e_prokon, the electronic procurement system with continuous process integration, at e_procure & supply 2007.
A new version of e_prokon was developed in close cooperation with our customers. It stands out on account of its fast and flexible implementation of existing business processes.
Its mains features are the reduction of costs through operation and maintenance and its web-based user interface with portal character. Its intuitive operation reduces training costs considerably. The mapping of complex workflow structures, integration with all conventional ERP systems and technologies as well as the use of standards such as BMEcat, openTrans and eCl@ss are decisive benefits in process optimization through the use of e_prokon.
Smooth transition between the E-Procurement solution and the ERP system simplifies handling
for the user. Therefore, if all the procurement processes in a company are to be mapped
electronically without limiting existing functions in the ERP system, an E-Procurement solution
such as e_prokon will help.
With e_prokon it is possible to have an integral, flexible solution
adapted to the company’s requirements with standardized processing of purchasing processes.
As a result, the company is able to control procurement processes and their authorizations and
to support financial controlling. Authorizers can also edit processes on their portable terminal
at any time. Using e_prokon facilitates the continuous connection of all functions to the ERP system.
Thanks to its flexible interface architecture only a minimum of modifications are required for
interface upgrades or an ERP release change.
